1. The registration form, duly filled in, should be returned to the school office within two days of receipt of the form, before 1:00 p.m.
2. If at any stage it is found that the information given in the form is incorrect, the form will be rejected and the admission will be cancelled.
3. The name and date of birth, once entered, will not be changed.
4. A photocopy of the Birth Certificate issued by an authorized body (Municipal Corporation),along with three recent passport-size photographs, must be submitted.
5. Submission of the original Transfer Certificate, countersigned by the competent authority, is mandatory.
6. Admission to St. Francis’ School implies, on the part of the pupil and the parents, a willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
7. Students must wear the prescribed uniform for the season whenever they come to school.Those who are not properly dressed in uniform may be excluded from the class or even sent home.
8. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience, disrespect towards members of the staff, or bad moral influence may lead to dismissal. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school.
9. Repeated absence without leave, or absence for more than five consecutive days, renders a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
10. Special arrangements for examinations cannot be made for pupils who, for any reason, are absent from any test or examination.
11. Absence from an examination will be treated as having received no marks in that examination.
12. A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue studies in this school.
13. Any student found resorting to unfair means in any examination will not be allowed to write the remaining papers of that semester examination and will not be permitted to continue studies in the next session.
14. Students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day, reopening day, or whenever there is a school function.
15. Computer Science is compulsory for Classes IV to X. Fees for Computer Science will be charged extra.
16. Merit is the sole criterion for admission. Admission is granted on the basis of a written test or interview. The decision of the Principal will be final and binding on all.
17. School fees are subject to change from time to time due to increasing costs of maintenance and other expenses.
18. Parents and students are bound by the rules and regulations laid down in the Students’Handbook and prospectus.
19. A minimum of 90% attendance is necessary for promotion to the next class.
20. Students are not allowed to bring motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, etc., to school.
21. Students are not permitted to take private tuition from the teachers of the school.
22. School fees, once paid, will not be refunded if admission is cancelled. The school fee includes tuition fee, sports, maintenance & development, library, computer activity, and stationery.The tuition fee is charged for 10 months.
23. School fees are collected at the school office during working hours, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is compulsory to pay the school fees before the 10th of every month. |
